Beautiful hotel! Staff was very helpful and food in the hotel was excellent BUT our AC did not work which made the stay in the room miserable. They brought a fan up which we put in the door (we were on the 4th floor) of the balcony but really did not help. Just remodeled and was very up to date. Only reason for the 4 stars is the AC which made it very uncomfortable at night.
Booked a room for 5 days for 4. Drove 2 hours. Walked in to our room to find out it sleeps 3 not 4. No roll away, no way to sleep 4. Three different people at the check in desk where determined to convince me that two people could sleep in the pull out that was a love seat, and was only a single. Two kids 6 to 8 years old ,maybe. Later one employee told me that he agreed with me and that they where required to say the rooms slept 4, even though that is a lie. Marriott should look into this location
Holy s*#t, this hotel is amazing! Away from all the hustle and bustle of Mission Beach, nice and quiet, great location to truly relax. Direct beach access right off the pool makes it easy to come and go from the room. Great views from the balcony. My new go to when in SAN!
Awesome resort right on the beach. My family and I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this property. I think because of its proximity to the ocean there are a number of small maintenance issues with rust, which didn't bother me at all, however based upon other people's reviews seems to be a concern for some. It's definitely worth upgrading to an ocean view room, I probably wouldn't stay here unless it was ocean view. The town itself was super quiet, and reminded me of a beach town of yesteryear. The restaurant was incredible and I would recommend it. Actually felt like there was value in paying the resort fee here. We used the bikes, the boogie boards, the surfboards, the sand toys,the beach towels... All included in the resort fee. Too many positive things to say about this Resort. It's great for families and we will return.
Excellent beach and extremely friendly service. Loved the happy hour specials on the patio. Rooms are well kept and comfy. Will definitely visit again!
