Great selection of dog foods and friendly staff.
Have been a loyal customer for over 2 years - they claim to offer price matching, and in the past always have as well as honored their military discount. Today they were not able to offer military discount on a price match, the reason cited would be that they would take a loss- it was not offered to meet in the middle or sell the product at cost therefore not taking a loss. Not to mention other stores in San Diego offer the same food at a lower cost and honor a Military discount - I probably spent $1200+ at this store in the last year. And this item is the only one that I have asked to price match because it is $12/bag higher than another independent shop.
I've been going regularly to this pet store to get my dog food and other supplies ever since I discovered them when I move to Imperial Beach. I went to another pet store in Imperial Beach and they were just not friendly. I felt like they avoided me to not have to do work and they were irritated with my questions. When I walked in to IB pets, they immediately made me feel welcome and they went out of my way to answer my questions and help me. They greet my dog. And I say day because I've been there many times and I've had the same experience with all of the staff. This is a great pet store and I highly recommend them.

I just got my first rescue two days ago, he was super under weight when brought to the shelter and he was not super fond of the food or treats I got him from pet co. They helped me find the perfect treat after many different samples and food that he absolutely devours and is much healthier for him! Not only that but they helped measure him for a crate that he adores and took to right away and an anti-pull harness that to makes walking him a dream!! Super impressed and will definitely be coming back!!
